International eSIM plans for 150+ countries

Where are you travelling? Four ways to travel connected — pick the one that fits your trip.

How to choose an international eSIM plan

The four shelves above are four different answers to the same question, and which one is right depends on the trip rather than the destination. Daily Data covers 1 to 7 days and is built for short trips and stopovers. Fixed Data gives you a set allowance across 15 or 30 days, and is usually the lowest cost per gigabyte once you have a rough idea of what you use. Unlimited Data gives you a daily allowance the network does not cap, which earns its price when you would rather not ration maps, tethering and calls over data. Orange World plans belong to no single country and work across destinations, so they suit a multi-stop trip or an itinerary you have not pinned down yet.

Then decide how wide the coverage has to be. A single-country plan is almost always the cheapest per gigabyte and is the right answer for one destination. A regional package covers a group of neighbouring countries on one profile and saves you reinstalling at every border. An all-destination plan costs more per gigabyte but means you install once and stop thinking about it.

Nothing is reserved or held: you pick a plan, pay, and the eSIM arrives by email within minutes, so buying on the morning of a flight is fine. The plan itself starts when you first connect to a network at your destination, which means you can install it before you leave and land already connected.

Travelling from India

Prices are shown in Indian rupees by default, and checkout accepts UPI, cards, net banking and wallets — so there is no card-in-foreign-currency step and no roaming pack to activate before you fly. Popular routes are covered by single-country plans for Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam, by UAE plans for a Dubai stopover, and by regional or Orange World plans when one trip crosses several of them.

Why travellers choose Simzzy

The alternative to a travel eSIM is your home operator's roaming pack, and the comparison is rarely close: roaming is billed at a premium for data you mostly cannot predict, while an eSIM is a fixed price you agree to before you travel. There is no physical SIM to source at the airport, no number to give up, and no counter to find after a long flight — the profile installs from a QR code and your home SIM stays in the phone for calls and messages.

That shape suits some people more than others. Frequent flyers and business travellers get a predictable line item and a connection that works on landing, which matters when the first hour is a client call rather than a hotel check-in. Longer or more remote trips — including the merchant navy, seafaring and aircrew routes people ask us about — are where the all-destination and regional plans earn their price, because one profile covers a route instead of a single country.

Installation is the part people worry about and the part that takes the least time. After payment the QR code arrives by email, you scan it in your phone's settings, and you are connected. If your device is more than a few years old, the compatibility checker will tell you whether it supports eSIM before you buy, and support is there if an install does not go cleanly.

Choosing a plan: common questions

Questions about picking and comparing plans. For installation, devices and refunds, see the help centre.

Should I choose Unlimited, Fixed or Daily data?

Start from how long you are away and how heavily you use data. Daily Data covers 1 to 7 days and suits a short trip or a stopover. Fixed Data gives you a set allowance over 15 or 30 days and is usually the lowest cost per gigabyte if you know roughly what you use. Unlimited Data gives you a daily allowance the network does not cap, which is the one to pick when you would rather not think about usage at all — maps, tethering, calls over data.

What are the Orange World plans?

They are all-destination plans, so there is no country to choose: one profile works across the destinations the plan covers. That makes them the simplest option for a multi-stop trip or an itinerary that is not settled yet, where picking a single country or region in advance does not really work.

Can I use one eSIM in more than one country?

Yes, with a regional or an all-destination plan. Each plan lists the networks it can connect to in every country it covers, so you can confirm your route before you buy. A single-country plan is cheaper per gigabyte but stops at that country’s border.

How do I compare two plans fairly?

Compare the price against the days, not just the headline figure. A cheaper plan with a shorter validity is often the more expensive choice once it runs out mid-trip, so a 15-day plan and a 30-day plan are not really the same product. Each shelf shows the durations it sells so you can line the two up before deciding.

What happens when my data runs out?

On a Fixed or Daily plan the data stops rather than continuing at a surprise rate — there is no out-of-bundle charge. You can buy another plan for the same destination and install it alongside the first, and your existing eSIM profile stays on the device. On an Unlimited plan the daily allowance is not capped by the provider, so there is nothing to run down.

Can I pay in Indian rupees?

Yes. Prices are shown in Indian rupees by default and checkout accepts UPI, cards, net banking and wallets. You can switch the display currency if you would rather see prices in US dollars, euros, pounds, dirhams or one of the other supported currencies.
